We were so thrilled to see someone finally manufacturing a children's ride on toy with sturdy rubber wheels that travels at more than 3 miles per hour. We bought this for my 7 year old son thinking it would be a great alternative to the "real" thing. I think this is a very sturdy ride on, however, the thing scares the living daylights out of me when the kids get on it. Just the slightest sharp turn and your child is sure to hit the pavement. We do not allow any of the neighborhood kids to ride it and have since upgraded to a gas powered atv. My opininon is that for a little more money, buy yourself the real thing. These are far too dangerous with the tipping factor and it was very disappointing how short of time the battery stays charged. If you do buy this for your child, an appropriate helmet is a MUST! I find this product to be far more dangerous than a real four wheeler. Good luck!

I have two children that own a dirt quad. The first child got one for a birthday gift, the second liked it so much that she got one for christmas ! These are quite well built, and very capable of handling difficult terrain. The only problem you have to avoid is too much water exposure. The quad can do some puddle jumping, but dont soak it.We have been very pleased with these quads, Just wish that charge time was less, or that the battery was easily accessible so another battery could be charged and changed to extend play time. This is the only reason I did not give the product 5 stars.

This seems to be a very durable 4 wheeler and great for a kid just starting out and learning the ropes of 4 wheeling. No trouble thus far, except if it is sitting in your living room, you might want to disconnect the power so the kid doesn't drive it off into the entertainment center!
