After I learned that old VitaMix containers (5000 and older) are made of polycarbonate (which means contain BPA) I immediately started looking for replacement and at VitaMix website I would have to pay $10 extra for shipping of their new container of Tritan copolyester, so here on Amazon is a great deal.
It looks much better - almost crystal clear - compared to old polycarbonate one that has blueish tint to it.
Lid is the newer style as all 5200 models have and inclusion of wrench with each containers is great (I bought both - 64oz and 32oz).
So now I'm using BPA-free containers with the best blender of its kind.

We've had a Vitamix for 8 years and just wanted a new top container. Using a Vitamix can improve your health. Love the container because it is BPA free (important for making hot soup) and unbreakable.

love this container, it is easier to clean and the top much easier to remove than the older style (I have the 5000). It also takes up less counter space, since it came with the wrench I also have the option of using the 64 oz. container that I am storing.
