Mary Ellen's Best Press is the greatest "starch alternative" I've tried. Starch leaves "gunk" on your iron; Best Press does not. It is a light starch alternative. Great for ironing fabric for quilting and for sewing! Also, great for ironing clothing. Amazon has a great price on this product and I received the product within a couple of weeks. Thanks, Amazon!

I love this product and always buy it by the gallon. I do a lot of ironing--shirts, quilting, linens, dresses--every week. Two hours, minumum. I know my spray starches and this is the best--I've tried them all. Smells great, works great (not stiff and crunchy but smooth and crisp), keeps clothes looking great for a lot longer. Just one thing, Amazon-- could we have some more choices of fragrances? By the way, this is also the best price I have found Best Press. I'd just like to use some of the other fragrances too . . .
